Cathy gets a fascinating insight into a little-known period of Bollywood history. The film 'Shalom Bollywood, The Untold Story of Indian Cinema', tells how Jewish actors took lead roles in early Indian cinema, and is currently being shown at Tongues on Fire UK Asian Film Festival Edinburgh. Dr Alina Mirza, Associate Festival Director, explains why the message of this film is important today.

The Poverty Truth Commission in Scotland has been going nine years. Its success has led to many other cities and towns around the UK replicating the project with the help and support of the original Scottish project.
