IWD2018: investigative reporter Stacey Dooley, director Lynne Ramsey and film review day

Grant Stott talks to intrepid investigative reporter Stacey Dooley on International Women's Day, plus we review Lynne Ramsay's long-awaited new film, You Were Never Really Here.

On International Women's Day we'll talk to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Three's intrepid investigative reporter, Stacey Dooley, about her book On the Front Line with the Women Who Fight Back, which pulls together stories Stacey has gathered over the last decade as she's filmed with women across the globe.

Thursday is of course film review day and today the hot new releases up for discussion by our critics are You Were Never Really Here, Gringo and Mom and Dad.

Swiss director Petra Volpe discusses her new film The Divine Order. It tells the story of Nora, who lives in a chocolate-box pretty village, and who controversially organises the other women in the village to strike as part of the movement in Switzerland that led to women finally securing the right to vote in 1971.

And we hear about a new musical comedy set in a Bingo hall. Bingo! is brought to us by award winning and renowned theatre companies Grid Iron and Stellar Quines and it is written by Johnny McKnight and Anita Vettese. Our guests are writer Anita Vettese, director Jemima Levick and cast member Barbara Rafferty.
