Paris-Manchester 1918. Musicians from the Royal Northern College of Music and the Paris Conservatoire join forces at London's Cadogan Hall to explore music performed in Manchester and Paris during the First World War. Included in the programme is music by Richard Wagner, a composer championed by Sir Thomas Beecham in his wartime concerts with the HallΓ© Orchestra.

This concert forms part of Paris-Manchester 1918, a partnership project between the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and the Conservatoire National SupΓ©rieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) that combines performance and research to shed light on the musical life of Paris and Manchester during the First World War.
