Verity Sharp
On the eve of the first ever solo Picasso exhibition at Tate Modern, the painter is an inspiration for the musical choices tonight.
On the eve of the first ever solo Pablo Picasso exhibition at Tate Modern, the painter, sculptor, ceramicist, poet, and playwright is an inspiration for several of Verity's musical choices tonight. Travel with her to 19th century Spain, to pre-war Paris, and to the world of surrealism.
Also featured on the programme are contemporary multi-disciplinary artists playing with aesthetic, abstract, and avant-garde approaches to sound and music-making. These include Ryoko Akama, Yas Clarke, Claire Tolan, and Anna Zaradny.
Produced by Jack Howson for Reduced Listening.
