Ruth Jones stars as Mandy Haveez in David Peet's new sitcom set in one of the more lively areas of Cardiff. This week, the constant family arguments finally come to a head. Can Mandy heal the rifts she's caused? And what advice can she take from serial killers?

Mandy lives in Splott with her recently widowed Dad and her daffy daughter Chertsey, just down the road from Mandy's twin brother Bryan, and Bryan's pretentious wife Patricia (don't call her Trish).

Passionate, sometimes gung-ho, but ultimately big-hearted, Mandy simply seeks peace, romance and happiness... but none of it seems to come without a fight.
