The Celtic Connections festival is producing a unique showcase of the Gaelic song tradition in an unprecedented collaboration, which sees the creme de la creme of contemporary Gaelic singers, including Julie Fowlis, Karen Matheson, Kathleen MacInnes, Griogair Labhruidh, Gillebrìde MacMillan, The MacKenzie Sisters, Arthur Cormack, Robert Robertson, Isobel Ann Martin, Kim Carnie and Mischa Macpherson all performing amid brand new orchestral arrangements of their chosen material, played by the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

The concert creates its own legacy and extends the musical form in a new way. Narrated by Julie Fowlis, the programme features contributions from the singers and organisers.
