In this edition we visit the Wales final of Famelab, a UK-wide competition to find the very best communicators among scientists at the beginning of their career, people who can take a knotty scientific concept and make it fun and engaging.
The Welsh final takes place in Swansea this week and each finalist has just three minutes to capture the audience's interest and tell them something amazing. Adam Walton talks to some of the finalists and also hears from last year's winner.

Adam Walton talks to three of the competitors -ÌýTom Savage, Laura O' Dea and Mark White - about the challenges ofÌýdistilling their research into an entertaining 180 seconds.Ìý

He alsoÌýtalks to Rhian Melita Morris from Swansea University, organiser of the Welsh heats of FameLab. And we hear from Carol Glover, winner ofÌýlast year's Welsh final.
And the winner of the Welsh final forÌýFameLab 2018 Ìýis.... Laura O'Dea! Congratulations to Laura and to runner-up Elizabeth Evans.ÌýLaura willÌýnow go on to compete in the UK FameLab final, to be held at the Cheltenham Science Festival in June.
