One step closer to the Final

Eight players record 10 minutes of music with one of our top bands. Frank Renton presents these semi-final highlights. Clare Freeman talks to the players about their love of music.

Our search for the next brass star reaches this exciting stage as 8 players hope to take one of the 4 places at the Final. To impress the judges they all get to record 10 minutes of music with Foden's Band and conductor Michael Fowles as they try to get a step nearer to lifting the trophy and take up the unique performance prize on offer. Frank Renton presents and announces the names of the Finalists as Clare Freeman asks the players about the place music making has in their lives and how they've been preparing for this Semi Final.
