Chinese New Year

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Jason Mohammad and Kate Bottley are joined by sisters Lisa and Helen Tse who run a restaurant in Manchester.

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Jason and Kate are joined by sisters Lisa and Helen Tse who run a restaurant in Manchester. They gave up high flying careers in law and finance to follow in the footsteps of their grandmother Lily Kwok. She is believed to have opened the first Chinese restaurant in the city after she arrived from Hong Kong in the 1950's. Customers included Cliff Richard and The Beatles. Lisa and Helen talk about their own Christian faith and the traditional food that they dish up at New Year celebrations.

Joining us is Rachel Treweek a British Anglican bishop and former speech and language therapist. Since June 2015, she has been Bishop of Gloucester, the first female diocesan bishop in the Church of England.

We'll also be speaking to this week's Charity Champion and hearing one of our listener's 'Song for Life.'
