In response to the sex scandal involving aid workers in Haiti the charity commission has announced a statutory inquiry - the most serious action it can take - against Oxfam. Kimberly Scharf, Economics professor at Warwick University, says that the reputational damage will have a negative impact on people's willingness to donate.
