Reggae legend David Rodigan returns to Radio 2, bringing a spot of Jamaican sunshine to the cold British nights. Showcasing his love for all types of reggae David will have an hour of classic roots, ska and reggae music from the '60s to the present day. Expect to hear a carefully selected a mix of evergreen classics and glorious obscurities to brighten up your Monday evenings.
In the first of seven shows, David has records from Jimmy Cliff, Prince Buster, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Dennis Brown and he shines the spotlight on Desmond Dekker.
