A highlight from earlier this year as Janice takes the show out of the studio and heads to The Spree Festival in Paisley.

2017 was a big year for Paisley as they bid for UK City of Culture 2021 and were shortlisted as the only Scottish town in the running. Janice took the show to The Paisley Spree in October and today is a chance to hear that programme once more featuring music from Kaze, local singer songwriter Lisa Kowalski and James Grant and the Hallelujah String Quartet. We also discover how much music has been a part of Paisley's heritage and how much the culture bid has helped promote musical activities in Paisley with Tommy McGrory, the man behind local music charity Loud n Proud. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Poet in Residence Stuart Paterson composes a poem for Paisley and choreographer Marc Brew tells us about Brewband, a mix of music gig and dance performance. There's also comedy from Jay Lafferty and film reviews of Death of Stalin and a re-release of Hitchcock's classic North by North West from our regular film critics Siobhan Synnot and Jane Graham.
