Episode 1
A rare condition means Tom ages so slowly that while he looks about 41, he is in fact over 400 years old. Read by Tom Hollander.
Tom Hazard has a rare condition - he ages very, very slowly with the result that, while he looks about 41, he is in fact over 400 years old.
Over the centuries, it's been a dangerous condition to have, so he's continually changed identities and moved from place to place. And he's travelled the world.
Now, in a search for at least the pretence of normality, Tom's back in London, where he attends an interview for a job as a history teacher at a school in Tower Hamlets.
