Catriona MacPhee and Donald MacSween present the best of the action from the Scottish National Sheep Dog Trials in the beautiful setting of Ballinluig. The first programme brings the first day of the Scottish National Trial and, with the sun shining down, the course is large and wide, creating a challenge for the handlers to finish in time.
As well as the action on the field, we speak to farm manager George Campbell to find out what preparations he's been making to host the trial at Atholl Estate. We also meet Hamish Mitchell, who has spent much of his life travelling the world as a professional sheep shearer and is returning home to Scotland to try his hand at the 2018 Scottish National Trial.
