Mod na Cloinne - Highlights

Cathy MacDonald presents some of the successful performers from the Children's Mòd held in Lochaber earlier this autumn.

Cathy MacDonald welcomes you to enjoy some of the successful performers from the Children's Mod held in autumn 2017 in Lochaber. The premier Gaelic music and language festival got off to a great start with the impressive children's competitions.

On Monday the singing competitions began with young learners taking part while the following day, the competitions were aimed at native speakers. A selection of winners from both days will be shown, including the winners of the James C MacPhee medals, Elizabeth Macmillan-Currie from Islay and Angus Mclean from Kilmartin.

Also featured will be the young girl and boy who won the Comunn Gàidhealach silver medals, Alice Macmillan from Lewis and Ruairidh Gray from South Uist.
