What are we to make of the end of "net neutrality" in the US? More expensive internet? Or just a lot of fuss over nothing?
What are we to make of the end of "net neutrality" in the US? From now on, American internet service providers can speed up or slow down different companies' data, and charge consumers according to the services they access on sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Critics warn it'll hand control of the future of the web to cable and telecoms companies. They say it could mean higher internet prices. But Internet Service Providers say the internet will "continue to work tomorrow just as it always has.".
