Giant Lanterns of China is a new exhibition lighting up the winter darkness of Edinburgh Zoo for the next two months. We'll be finding out how the silken, illuminated animal-shaped lanterns have been created on location by Sichuan craftspeople and how the zookeepers are using them as another way of starting conversations with visitors about the inhabitants of the Zoo.

And, live on air, Vic Galloway will be announcing the winner of The Scottish Book Trust's campaign to find the Nation's Favourite Song Based on a Book.
