Episode 64
The Co Down Traction Engine Rally, Alister McReynolds hears about Olivia Elder of Aghadowey and Catriona Holmes tells Helen about events to celebrate NI's links to Scotland.
Helen Mark takes a run to Greyabbey for the Co Down Traction Engine Rally, and amongst the tractor fans Helen meets Willie Cromie of Ballywalter, an old friend of Kist. Alister McReynolds hears from Andrew Carpenter about Olivia Elder of Aghadowey, who wrote Ulster Scots verse in the 1700s; and Wilson Burgess, our present-day Bard of Aghadowey, has a poem about a ploughman. Then, as it's coming near St Andrew's Day, Catriona Holmes tells Helen about events taking place in Carrickfergus to celebrate our links to Scotland.
