Grain exports post-Brexit, Local food, Cleaning solar panels

The latest news about food, farming and the countryside. What does the future look like for British grain exporters after Brexit? Charlotte Smith finds out.

The farming industry body, the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, is warning that British arable farmers may find it hard to export their grain after Brexit. It says the UK will struggle to compete with other grain-producing countries like Ukraine and Russia on the world market. We hear from the National Association of British and Irish Flour Millers. as well as the AHDB.

Farming Today continues its week-long look at farming and education - with a visit to a primary school in Somerset, where children are learning about locally-produced food.

And we meet the man whose job it is to clean some of the thousands of solar panels now spread across British farmland.
