Each year the Radio 3 New Generation Artists Scheme offers six brilliant musicians, chosen from the brightest talent at home and abroad, a two-year opportunity to develop their talents in the concert hall, the recording studio and with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Orchestras. The New Generation Artists scheme is recognized internationally as perhaps the leading opportunity of its kind and many of the artists who have taken part since its inception in 1999 are now pursuing glittering international careers.
