Gregory first became aware of Nat 'King' Cole as a child growing up in Los Angeles in the 1970s. Today his love of Nat's voice and style remains as strong as it ever was, something that shines through in every song included on his new album. Recorded in London with a 70-piece orchestra under the direction of arranger Vince Mendoza, tonight's tracks include But Beautiful, Pick Yourself Up and Nature Boy. Plus highlights from the Jerome Kern songbook performed by Tony Bennett, Sarah Vaughan, Harry Connick, Jr. and George Shearing.
