Bruce MacGregor speaks to Lauren MacColl about her latest album, The Seer.

Fiddler and composer Lauren MacColl was commissioned by Feis Rois to create a new musical work based on the life and prophecies of Coinneach Odhar, the Brahan Seer, a 17th Century prophet who spent much of his life in Easter Ross. It was performed at Celtic Connections this year but has now been released as an album. She tells Bruce all about it.

And we catch up with English folk trio The Young 'Uns as they release their latest album 'Strangers'. We first met them in Orkney but since then they have spent the summer meeting some of the people they have written songs about. Bruce finds out how it all went.
