2017 Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 Young Folk Award winners Josie Duncan and Pablo Lafuente are in session, as Mark opens the 2018 contest for entries.
Josie, a singer from the Isle of Lewis, and Pablo, a guitarist from Spain via Glasgow, perform both traditional and original songs in Scots, Gaelic and English.
The Young Folk Award is Radio 2's annual search for the best young folk and acoustic musicians in the UK. To enter you must be aged between 16 and 21, play folk, roots or acoustic music of any kind, and be resident in the UK, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
