Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith visit saddler Charlie Gammack at his workshop in Aberlour, and explore the fishing village of Collieston to hear about its history.

Mark and Euan pay a visit to a well known figure in Aberlour on Speyside - Charlie Gammack, the local saddler. Charlie regales them with tales of his career in the saddler and ironmongery business whilst making a leather belt in the process. In an attempt to catch the last rays of summer, they visit the fishing village of Collieston, north of Aberdeen to hear about its history from local historian Elizabeth Hay. Mark takes up an oar with the local outdoor rowing club and walks along the Forvie Sands with the last salmon fisherman in the area, Malcolm Forbes. In between a spot of rock pooling, Mark and Euan vie with each other to produce the best picnic containing everything from lobster to chicken paste.
