Ian wants to forge ahead, and who will win best in show?
Ian draws Adam's attention to an online messageboard for surrogacy which he has learned loads from already. Adam insists they will have to be patient. But later Ian informs him they've been invited to a birthday party on Thursday along with other people from the surrogacy organisation.
At the Flower and Produce Show Jennifer is confident that her frangipane will do well, though she may have left it in the oven too long. Bert and Joe are more impressed by Lexi's banitsa, despite Jennifer's claim that it looks dry. Jennifer's frangipane isn't even commended, but Lexi wins first prize. In her excitement she kisses Roy.
Bert and Joe are pleased to see that Cecil has all his entries in. Jennifer is impressed by their plan of dropping out of certain categories to give Cecil the best chance of doing well. But when Cecil is awarded to Freda Fry Memorial Cup for Best in Show they are surprised to see him dancing round the tent. Ian's heard from Cecil's daughter that he's about to go trekking in the Himalayas. His apparent illness was due to the vaccinations. Joe and Bert furiously blame one another, with Joe declaring he could have missed his final chance to win the best in show prize!
