James Warren from Stackridge

James Warren from the band Stackridge shares his 70s memories.

James Warren from the band Stackridge shares his 70s memories.

Stackridge played their first gig at The Temple in Wardour Street on 6 February 1970 and were the opening and closing act at the first Glastonbury Festival in September of the same year. They constantly toured the U.K. for the next three years, slowly building a fanatic following and went on to release 5 albums during the 70s - including the George Martin produced "The Man in the Bowler Hat" - before disbanding in 1977.

Also on the show, Johnnie will delve into the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archive to unearth what was happening this week in music in the 70s, and another classic seven-inch single will be added to Johnnie's Jukebox.
