Some unusual soloists

In the spotlight tonight are some unusual solo instruments with players on today's scene taking a deserved round of applause.

It's often said that it's the star players in the band world that make it what it is, and some of them are a bit special. Tonight we feature some great players and their instruments who are not always at the forefront of everyone's mind but are an essential part of the process nevertheless including the bass trombone, the tenor and baritone horns and increasingly on today's scene the human voice.
