Car hire, Libraries, Care home bans

A look at a car hire company accused of charging both customers and insurers, how libraries are staying relevant and relatives who are banned from visiting care homes.

You & Yours investigates further allegations that Europcar - one of the world's biggest car hire companies - is overcharging its customers.
The company has already been criticised for charging customers for repairs that haven't happened.
According to research from Mintel, British customers are losing confidence in car hire.
There's been a six per cent drop in people from the UK hiring cars abroad in the last year alone.
Many people say they're put off because of past rental experiences with one in three claiming they no longer hire cars.
So why is car hire falling out of favour and what does this mean for those who rent cars both in the UK and abroad?

Libraries have had a tough decade - they were among the first council-run services to see their budgets cut under government plans to reduce public spending following the banking crisis. Hundreds have closed and thousands of librarians have lost their jobs.
So how are libraries responding and what are they doing to remain relevant?
Our reporter visits the village of Honley in West Yorkshire to see what locals have done to keep their library open.
He also meets the poet and broadcaster, Ian McMillan, and talks to him about why he feels passionately about his local library.

We look at why some relatives get banned from visiting relatives in care homes and whether this can ever be justified.
We report on one man's battle with Nottinghamshire County Council to get one of these bans overturned - but with surprising results.
