Outlaw singer-songwriter Angaleena Presley is live in session, playing songs from her second solo album Wrangled and looks forward to playing at Perth's Southern Fried Festival. Angaleena discusses the themes of her new record which include realities like the discrimination against female artists at the height of Bro-Country, the high school mentality of Music Row and the pain that's just beneath the surface of the road to stardom. She also performs a song recorded by her band Pistol Annies.

Song-writer and journalist Bill DeMain reports on the latest music news from Nashville. He also celebrates 90 years since The Bristol Sessions, considered to be the 'Big Bang' of country music. The recording trip made by Victor Records to Bristol, Tennessee in July-August 1927 was a defining moment in country music witnessing the commercial debuts of The Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers. Johnny Cash described this as "the single most important event in the history of country music.
