This week, Colin Meloy from top alt-folk band The Decemberists and English singer Olivia Chaney discuss their new band, Offa Rex.
The Decemberists, from Portland in Oregon, are one of the world's top alt-folk bands. They've recently joined with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 Folk Award-nominated folk singer Olivia Chaney to record a folk-rock album that focusses on traditional music from England, Scotland and Ireland.
The collaboration is called Offa Rex and their debut album is called The Queen of Hearts.
On this show, Mark unites Colin (in the United States) and Olivia (in London) via the wonders of technology and talks about the project.
