According to editorial in The Times, a new consultation by the Scottish Government has rewritten guidance setting out minimum standards for school buildings to include the approval of gender neutral toilets.
A number of schools in Scotland adopted unisex toilets several years ago.
Are they the way ahead? Should we have gender neutral toilets everywhere?
