Michael Feinstein celebrates the legendary composer behind the musical 42nd Street - Harry Warren. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Concert Orchestra & Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Big Band are conducted by Broadway's Larry Blank.
Michael Feinstein returns to Sunday Night Is Music Night to celebrate the man behind the greatest showbiz musical of them all - 42nd Street - Harry Warren.
The sixty piece Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Concert Orchestra, conducted by Broadway maestro Larry Blank, will be joined by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Big Band and guest singers Ali Jiear and the Olivier Award winning Rebecca Trehearn to celebrate the legendary composer and songwriter.
Harry Warren was nominated for 11 Academy Awards, winning three. His songs include, 'I Only Have Eyes For You', ' Lullaby of Broadway', '42nd Street', 'You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby', 'That's Amore' 'Chattanooga Choo Choo', 'On the Atcheson Topeka and the Sante Fe', 'You'll Never Know', and 'September in the Rain'.
His extraordinary contribution to the great American songbook included: defining the sound of Busby Berkeley's groundbreaking film musicals; being part of Hollywood's Golden Age at MGM, writing for Fred Astaire and Judy Garland; and composing the theme for one of the most romantic movies of all time, 'An Affair To Remember'.
