Grant Stott sits in

Grant Stott sits in for Janice Forsyth and talks to author Rachel Joyce about her new novel The Music Shop.

Author Rachel Joyce, best known for her debut novel The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, tells Grant about her new book The Music Shop, a story about life, love and the importance of vinyl.

Open Close is an art project and part of Edinburgh's Architecture Fringe, which aims to show some of the capital's closes and wynds in a different way. Architect Eileen Hall and musician Tommy Perman explain how they are opening up these overlooked spaces.

Grant hears about a very 21st century production La Bohème which is coming to St Andrews as part of the Byre in the Botanics festival.

Phyllida Lloyd and Karen Dunbar talk about the Donmar Warehouse's all-female production of Julius Caesar, which is about to be screened in cinemas.

Plus the Tuesday Review: critics Chitra Ramaswamy, Natasha Raskin Sharp and Jonathan Whitelaw give their views on Matt Haig's new novel How to Stop Time, Channel 4 comedy The Windsors, and Haim's album Something to Tell You.
