Vince Clarke and Andy Bell of Erasure both join Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2's Sara Cox for a Sounds of the 80s special.

Alongside classic videos, Vince and Andy look back on how Depeche Mode, Yazoo and The Assembly informed both of their views on coming together as their own band Erasure.

They open the lid on how the band was formed and the ways in which their formative years cemented a lifelong friendship and partnership.

With 30 years as a band, we look back at their 80s archive and dip into some of the more outrageous moments of the band's career, from rubber leotards to drag queen disguises!

Plus a look at their new material and the excitement for them and their fans about being on tour in 2017.

Also in this episode, your usual host of videos, including Run DMC featuring Aerosmith, Kylie Minogue, Eddy Grant, Kate Bush and a favourite David Bowie track chosen by Vince and Andy from Erasure. Sara Cox will also spirit you away to a top 5 chart megamix from this week in 1986, including the Number 1 video from Doctor and The Medics.
