Durham Brass Festival

Durham Brass Festival Director Paul Gudgin takes Frank Fenton through the July event which aims to fill every corner of the city with the sounds of brass.

Featuring street bands to the very best band concerts, from the meeting of Northern Soul and brass bands to giving an opportunity for brass musicians to join in with the iconic brass band movie 'Brassed Off', this year's Durham Brass Festival continues its tradition of innovation and of being a real melting pot of brass styles. Director Paul Gudgin takes Frank Renton through next month's city wide schedule which aims to fill every corner of Durham with the sounds of brass.
