This week, acclaimed guitarist and singer-songwriter John Smith performs live in the Salford studio.
As well as his solo work, John is known for his work on projects such as The Elizabethan Session, where he worked along side Martin Simpson, Bella Hardy, Nancy Kerr and others to create new music inspired by the Elizabethan era. He's been a long-time member of Cara Dillon's band.
John's new album, Headlong, comes out on 30 June.
