More about the programme
Last October Assembly Members voted on a motion recognising the need for specific legislation for autism and calling on the Welsh Government to bring forward an autism bill.
That vote was lost. But later this week the Assembly Member behind that motion has another opportunity to convince his colleagues of the need for a Welsh Autism Act.
The idea of an Autism Act has the backing of families affected by the condition - but those involved in shaping and delivering the services they use aren't so convinced.
Kayley Thomas investigates what progress has been made in delivering services for people with autism and ask what difference an Autism Act for Wales could make.
