Elkie Brooks performs some of her greatest hits and a very special cover in The Radio 2 Piano Room. Elkie's 1981 album 'Pearls' was in the charts for 79 continuous weeks and went on to sell over a million copies, making Elkie Brooks the biggest selling female album artist in the history of the British pop charts at the time. Since then she has released over 20 albums and continued to tour, playing Wembley Stadium, the London Palladium and the Royal Albert Hall. George McCrae, the Grammy nominated American soul and disco singer, chooses the Tracks of My Years with music from Joe Cocker and The Ronettes. George has worked with James Brown, The Jacksons and Nile Rogers during in his illustrious career and is probably best known for his hit single 'Rock Your Baby' which went to number one in 40 countries selling 15 million copies.
