Graham McIndoe
Edi Stark talks to commercial photographer and former heroin addict Graham McIndoe, who is currently exhibiting at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.
Broxburn born photographer Graham McIndoe, whose solo show 'Coming Clean' is at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, talks candidly to Edi Stark about his rise to success from art school in Edinburgh to working in New York as a commercial photographer, followed by his subsequent demise as a heroin addict.
Having lost everything personally and professionally, he was arrested and imprisoned in the notorious Riker's Island for drugs possession and then, chained and shackled, threatened with deportation as a criminal immigrant. As he explains to Edi, survival was dependent on the journalist he is about to marry.
