Rare archive recordings from Bryan Rodwell on the Compton of the Capitol Cinema, Aberdeen, George Wylie at the console of another Compton, this time at Belfast's Ritz Cinema and George Thalben-Ball at the console of the Willis organ in Alexandra Palace for a performance of the Grand March from Wagner's Tannhauser dating from 1931. Plus another 1930's recording of Duke Ellington's Caravan performed by Henry Croudson on the Manchester Paramount Wurlitzer and Joyce Alldred on the Compton at Stockport's Davenport Theatre.
