Loneliness in Men
Gillian Russell finds out about the causes of male loneliness and how it can be addressed, plus she meets a life coach who uses humour and a direct approach to help make changes.
New research, conducted by the Royal Voluntary Service for the Jo Cox Commission On Loneliness, has found that over one in three men feel lonely at least once a week. For 11% of men loneliness happens daily. Neil Shah from the Stress Management Society tells Gillian Russell about some of the causes of this loneliness epidemic and suggests ways that individuals and society can address the problem.
