With Bananarama

Lauren Laverne is joined by Bananarama, who recently announced their reunion tour.

Lauren is joined by absolute legends, Bananarama who recently announced their reunion tour. The trio of Keren Woodward, Sara Dallinand and Siobhan Fahey were one of the most successful pop groups of the 80s and, although best known globally for their chart dominance their story reaches well beyond beyond pop hits.

During their formative years, the band fought hard to break down industry doors, managed themselves, lived above the Sex Pistols and recorded with Fun Boy Three. Also, Siobhan co-wrote 'Stay' for her second band Shakespeare's Sister, which is a stone cold classic.

As if that wasn't enough, Lauren also brings you half an hour of amazing music suggested by our beloved listener's in this week's People's Playlist. There's more new music for our Just Added playlist, a Headphones Moment and a box full of amazing records.
