It's Film Day: Edi Stark will discuss Johnny Depp's return to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new "Pirates of the Caribbean - Salazar's Revenge!!

Regular Critics, Ian Hoey & Neil Hepburn will share their thoughts on it, and on this week's other big cinema releases: including, documentary, 'It Was Fifty Years Ago Today! The Beatles: Sgt. Pepper and Beyond' - which celebrates the half-century birthday of a beloved Beatles classic!

And from Aki Kaurismäki, Finland's deadpan master filmmaker, The Other Side of Hope -- the second part of his 'dockyard trilogy' - it's a Chaplinesque fable of two disparate strivers in Helsinki.

Later in the show, we'll hear from author James Runcie - discussing the sixth book in his much-loved Grantchester series, Film-maker Jon Ley discusses the Blu-Ray release of Mulholland Drive and, Scottish film composer Patrick Doyle talks about his work on the remake of Whisky Galore!
