The Deeside Railway was a line that travelled from Aberdeen to Ballater as a stretch of the Great North of Scotland Railway. It is now a popular path with walkers and cyclists.
They set off after hiring bikes from Cycle Highlands and chatting to owner Richard Watts about how the village has recovered after flooding last year.
Ross Macdonald from the Dee District Salmon Fisheries Board meets them at Dinnet and chats about the health of the Dee.
Glen Tanar is just off the Deeside Way and the guys take a detour to chat to Eric Baird the head ranger there about the reserve and what there is to see and do.
Their journey continues through Aboyne with stop offs at The Spider on a Bike CafΓ© and the Cairngorm Outdoor Access Trust before they test their strength at the Dinnie Stones.
Onwards through Banchory to the Royal Deeside Railway which hosted Prince Charles earlier this week.
They stop off at the Camphill Community of Newton Dee and chat to residents before heading into town and ending the route in Duthie Park.
