Edi Stark sits in for Janice Forsyth and reviews the remake of Whisky Galore!, plus she hears from one of the stars of the film, Eddie Izzard.

It's Film Day: Edi Stark will discuss Director Gillies MacKinnon's new take on Whisky Galore! -adapted from Sir Compton Mackenzie's classic book, with a script by Peter McDougall. She'll hear from the star of the film Eddie Izzard and the Director of the film himself!

Regular Critics, Ian Hoey & Ross MacLean will share their thoughts on it, and on this week's other big cinema releases: including Mindhorn -Theatre director Sean Foley's debut feature - a starry comic romp about a washed-up actor trying to relive his glory days! - and The Journey - a fictionalised take on how Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness set aside sectarian hatred to pursue peace.

Later in the show, she'll hear from Ade Edmondson - discussing his new children's book - Tilly and The Time Machine, Dennis Quaid talks about his role in director Lasse Hallström's heart- warming family film, A Dog's Purpose, and Director of Glasgow's Hidden Lane Gallery, Joe Mulholland discusses a new exhibition by one of Scotland's most celebrated writers and artists: his dear friend Alasdair Gray.
