The Old Skool DJ Takeover will take you back in time and rekindle some of those nostalgic and magical British Asian Club moments of the 90's and early 2000 - think Wag, Capital Club, Limelight, day-timers at Zenith & Temple!
We have handpicked some of the finest DJ's, Producers and Roadshows that best represent and who have been vital to the scene. These individual and groups also played a key role in the emergence of the Urban-Asian explosion in the 90's and early noughties.
During the day expect to hear Bhangra and Mainstream Urban anthems of the era, the mixes will also include personal DJ mixes synonymous to the era. Then the evening will take a twist as we take an incredible musical journey through the realms of Asian Underground and world music.
DJ's on the day include The Untouchables, Maximum NRG, X-Zecutive & Badd Company, Jags Klimax, Panjabi MC and Bally Sagoo. The 12 hour marathon will be headed by our very own Panjabi Hit Squad and Bobby Friction.
