Ahead of Record Store Day, Steve chats to Matt Johnson, who's releasing The The's first single in fifteen years.

The one-sided 7" is limited to just 2000 copies. It features Matt's distinctive vocals and lyrics as well as contributions from former The The members Zeke Manyika on percussion, James Eller on bass, plus long-time friend and collaborator Johnny Marr on guitar.

Another Matt features later in today's show, from Diverse Music in Newport. They will be marking Record Store Day with live music from the likes of Aled Rheon and a raffle to win a guitar signed by Manic Street Preachers.
