Carolyn Quinn and is joined by the Shadow Treasury minister Jonathan Reynolds, the Conservative backbencher Kwasi Kwarteng, and the political editor of The Sun, Tom Newton Dunn, to discuss the implications of President Trump's airstrikes on Syria. Plus, in a special feature - 'Political Thinking with Nick Robinson' - Nick presents a half-hour discussion exploring one of the big themes shaping our politics at a time of immense flux. This week, Nick asks whether globalisation is in retreat. He's joined by the former Shadow Chancellor, Ed Balls; the economist Ann Pettifor - who's an adviser to the current Labour leader; the Conservative peer and former newspaper editor, Patience Wheatcroft; and Professor Ted Malloch of the Henley Business School, an adviser to Donald Trump. They debate the pros and cons of globalisation, and whether governments can or should do anything to control it.
