There is a difference of opinion at Bridge Farm, while at Grange Farm the cracks start to show.

Frazzled Clarrie's close to tears over the complicated breakfast orders from the Grange Farm B&B guests. Emma steps in to lend a hand, soothing Clarrie and dealing with a difficult guest. Emma complains that the place never feels like their own now. She's not even getting any time with the kids. Clarrie sympathises.

Tom agrees to help Tony with their IBR vaccinations tomorrow. Tom believes Brookfield is to blame for the virus. Tony suggests reasonably that they can't be sure it wasn't Bridge Farm cattle which infected Brookfield, but Tom's sceptical.

Meanwhile Ruth discovers the last batch of new dairy cows they acquired wasn't certified IBR free. It's by no means conclusive, but they may have brought the virus onto the farm. When Tony calls in, he's gloomy. He'd wanted to sell his Anguses for breeding stock, and he'd made sure they'd all tested negative. He presses Ruth and David; they did the same with their milkers, didn't they? When Ruth and David admit their oversight, Tony's aghast. David's adamant it doesn't prove their cows spread the disease to Bridge Farm. It's just bad luck. Tony replies ruefully it's looking less like a coincidence. Tom thinks Tony's given Brookfield too easy a time over this; they should be covering the vet bills. Tony comments David's certainly not the farmer Phil was.
