Sinn Fein leader Martin McGuinness, Northern Ireland's former deputy first minister, has died aged 66. It is understood he had been suffering from a rare heart condition. He was a former IRA leader turned peacemaker who made a remarkable journey from guns to government. Some cannot see past his former life as a terrorist and IRA commander. Others see him as Sinn Fein's chief negotiator, who took bold steps to build peace.
